This was my first time here and it’s my new go to spot. I came here with my friend. Perfect spot for GNO. The food is amazing, especially the wagyu dumplings and tuna crudo. The staff were really helpful thanks to Danny and Ali.

Stumbled upon Somewhere Dine Bar walking through the ByWard Market area. Saw the 2 Oysters for Happy Hour and decided to have an App before Dinner. No issue getting seats for two at the Bar between 6/7 on a Friday, but it was in January. Ordered a dozen Oysters, which were solid Oysters. Came out beautifully presented on ice with toppings. The fresh finely grated Horseradish was incredible and combined with the Red Wine Vinegar mixture was the perfect complement to an Oyster. The other Sauce was sort of a Green Sauce you would get at a Mexican Restaurant. It was flavorful and had a nice kick, but not something I personally cared for on an Oyster. The menu looks incredible, lots of variety. On the pricier side, but if it’s anything like the way the 2 Oysters were presented, it should be well worth it. Definitely plan to try next time I’m in Ottawa.

I had the most incredible experience at Somewhere Dine Bar, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect—chill, relaxing, and oh-so-inviting, with its cozy lighting and stylish ambiance. It was the ideal spot to celebrate my boyfriend and my anniversary, and the staff made us feel so special from start to finish. The food? Absolutely out of this world! We indulged in a meal that was nothing short of amazing. The steak was the highlight—hands down the best I’ve ever had! Cooked to perfection with incredible flavor, it was tender, juicy, and simply to die for. The sides, including the delicious fries, complemented it beautifully. But the real surprise came when they brought out a stunning cheesecake for our anniversary, beautifully decorated with “Happy Anniversary” written in red sauce, topped with fresh strawberries and edible flowers, and even a sparkling candle for that extra touch of magic. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our night unforgettable. The service was impeccable, the decor was on point, and the overall vibe was just what we needed for a romantic and memorable evening. Somewhere Dine Bar exceeded all expectations, and I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience with top-notch food and a laid-back yet elegant atmosphere, this is the place to be. The staff at Somewhere are so friendly, and will go the extra mile to ensure you have the best possible experience! The live DJ sets are great, and the food is impeccable (as always). Restrooms are clean, the bar is inviting, and the atmosphere/lighting is tasteful. I highly recommend paying this restaurant a visit!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Went there for anniversary dinner with my husband and we are still blown away with the service! Emily was amazing! Her recommendations were amazing and super helpful, she was super attentive to us the whole evening and went above and beyond! When she found out it was our anniversary, she brought us a surprise dessert with writing in the board! 10/10 would recommend. Food, service, vibe.. amazing place! Husband picked a perfect place!

One of my favourite places in the Byward market for sure. The drinks are delicious and the portion sizes are better than I thought. I recommend the calamari and tortellini pictured below. 5 star dining that will fill you up. The atmosphere is also very lively and unforgettable. Will be back!

We went for a date night last night, first time there, we had the most incredible server, Aislin, who absolutely made the night. The food was fantastic and the cocktails were 10/10. Absolutely would recommend, can’t wait to come back!

I come here quite often, I’ve always had an amazing experience! The food is amazing, the cocktails (and mocktails) hit just the spot (recommend the Pinky Promise (on the picture)) and the staff is just perfect, welcoming, friendly, professional and always in a good mood, especially Ashley! Would hundred percent recommend wether for a date, a business dinner or even for some late night drinks, this place is just the perfect spot.
